NEW COSPLAY: Barbara (Ballet Wrap Dress Outfit) - "Genshin Impact"

 

Well, it may be the new year as we speak, but I may as well kick off 2025 with a little something I love doing normally, showing off a new cosplay that I've completed some time ago and boy, I've got a good one to start off with.

Right now for this one, we may as well return to our favorite Church Deaconess/Shining Idol of Mondstadt herself, Barbara and luckily, this is one of 2 cosplays I've done recently on her Ballerina outfit in what I'd like to call, Barbara's Ballet Wrap Dress outfit.

Yep, interesting story, around 2023, I was in the planning stages on another version of my Ballerina Barbara cosplay, which is her Ballet practice outfit and well, luckily enough, I am finishing that off and will show it off later this month, when around that time, I got in touch with one cosplayer I know of, Chellypup, who has an old Wrap Dress she use to have when she use to take Ballet and mailed it over to me for my own use. I'll admit, the Wrap Dress I got looks incredible and I knew I wanted to create something great with this.

So, on top of it, I've of course, got some Dance Briefs, Tights and Ballet slippers to complete this outfit and it came out great. I was impressed with how it looks and well, it may take me some time to see about trying to do some Ballet dancing in this, but the outfit itself is incredible and I knew it'd be something Barbara would wear for Ballet. It's a bit more basic for my Ballet cosplays I've got compared to my last ones I've done, but all around, I'm happy with how it looks.

Absolutely can't wait to show this off at a future convention coming up alongside wearing it for a future cosplay photoshoot  I hope to do later on. Truly a nice one for me to hopefully dance in. But until then, be on the lookout later this month for Barbara's Ballet Practice outfit coming up, which I'm excited to show off soon. ;)
