Hey, guys. I wanted to get this out to you guys right about now because I'm gonna be going to a special event that's coming up this weekend. This upcoming Saturday, June 10th from 4 pm to 7 pm, I'm gonna be attending a special event in Auburn, NY called Cosplay Invades Auburn!
For those who want to know what it is, Cosplay Invades Auburn is a special event that's gonna be run by the people of Schweinfurth Art Center that's serving as a special sneak peek for a con in Syracuse, New York coming up called Salt City Comic-Con where it's not just a pre-show, but also serves as Auburn's very first ever Cosplay Contest where cosplayers will compete for cash prizes of $100 each, compete in a special raffle where a few winners will win tickets for the con coming up 2 weeks from now, and one lucky winner will be awarded a special "Convention's Choice" award with a limited edition comic of the con w/ Batman & the Ninja Turtles with the cover illustrated by legendary comic artist, Neal Adams. There will be photo stages, make-up stations and demonstrations, a costume repair station and let's not forget, snacks and refreshments.
I'll be there in my gender-bent Sailor Moon cosplay (Now fully upgraded) that I wore in both Anime Boston and Heroes and Villains Con this year for the event and of course, if it's possible, I'll be vlogging for that event coming up and feature it in "Convention Vlogs & Highlights."
