CONVENTION ANNOUNCEMENT: See Ackleyattack4427 at RetroGameCon 2024!

 

Hey, guys. Sorry it took me so long to get this announcement out, but we're hear with another convention announcement.

In less than 3 weeks, I'm here to officially confirm that I'm officially coming back to my all time favorite convention I always love going to, RetroGameCon. Always love going to this con since 2014 and 10 years later, it's going strong still and I can't wait to see what this year will have to offer and you bet that I'm not missing out on it.

I'm gonna be there once again as a regular attendee for all now 3 days of the convention as we speak and I'll be bringing 3 of my cosplays there. Those being Ash Ketchum in his Kalos outfit from "Pokémon" on Friday, my Gender-Bent version of Sailor Moon from "Sailor Moon" on Saturday in its convention return after many years and finally, officially debuting Seiya Kanie from "Amagi Brilliant Park" on Sunday.

Again, I'm gonna be there all weekend from October 11th - 13th at the OnCenter Convention Center up in Syracuse, New York and as usual, I'm gonna be giving away business cards to advertise my YouTube channel. Also, follow me on my social media pages for any updates and current whereabouts I'll be putting up during my time there. So, if by any chance you see me there, then by all means, come on up to me and say hy. Hope to see you there! ;)

NEW COSPLAY: Ruby Rose (Ballerina) - RWBY

 

Well, here’s something you haven’t seen from me in a while, me showing off a brand new cosplay of mine that I’ve just completed. Yep, it’s been over a year or two since I’ve worked on a new cosplay and this one is not only a great way to come back to it, but it’s also one I’m happy to show off.

So for that, time to be Red Like Roses once again as it’s time to reveal my newest Ruby Rose cosplay (Or in my case, my Gender-Bent Ruby Rose cosplay), but this time, being in an outfit that is certainly en pointe.

Yep, looks like I’ve given the Ballet treatment to Ruby Rose on my part as I’ve completed a brand new cosplay after a long while, which is of course, Ruby Rose as a Ballerina. This one I’ve decided to do for an upcoming podcast cosplay project coming up that I’m part of as of now. No details on how it’ll go down, but there will be a tie in with combining RWBY with Ballet. It’ll all be explained later on from the podcast I’m part of.

Aside from it, I’m happy with this one and this is the 2nd Ballet cosplay I’ve done since my Ballerina Barbara cosplay and it was well worth it. Everything from the Red Ballerina outfit with the Flower Hair clip, to the Black Tights and the Ballet slippers I’ve customized as well as the Arm Ruffles I’ve sewed, to even the Wrist Cuffs, the belt with the emblem and the tiara, makes it such a cute one.

Such a great cosplay I’ve put together and I can’t wait to not only show it off for the cosplay podcast project, but also for when I’ll wear it for a convention & a photoshoot coming up. Trust me when I say that with this, me as Ruby will be willing to fight the creatures of Grimm with one nice Pirouette. ;)

Well, we got a trailer for "Dog Man" and it looks interesting. The animation is well done, similar to what they did with the Captain Underpants movie and I love the ideas they went with for this. Can't wait to see how it does when it comes out. :)

Well, we got the final trailer for "Venom: The Last Dance" and it still looks decent. It's got some good action and the ideas they're offering for while not great, does help give us a fine conclusion to the Venom trilogy. We shall see when it's out. ;)

The Apprentice Trailer #1 (2024)

Well, just watched the trailer for "The Apprentice," aka, the movie Donald Trump doesn't want you to see and to me, it's not that bad. Sebastian Stan does portray the disgraceful billionaire quite well, the acting is stellar and it does portray this true story quite well. The guy doesn't want us to see it, but for me, I think we should see it anyways. And that is what I think, really matters. ;)
